He is growing up :(

Okay i am getting extremely sad these days..it is almost one month away from Walker's very first birthday....WHAT!!!! The year has flown by and it has been the most amazing year of our lives. The miracle of life is such a blessing and the joy that this little man brings to everyones lives is so amazing.
Walkers little personality is the cutest thing ever. He is ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS has a smile on his sweet little face. Judy told me today that they were going to nickname him "smiley" which I thought was pretty cute!!!
Walker is not walking just yet but he is SO CLOSE! He is pulling up on everything. He is so much fun...he loves to read books, beat metal pans on the floor to make really loud noise while mommy cooks, and he is saying so much (of course it is baby talk so we don't really know what he is actually saying!!!)
Everything to Walker is "DA".
I will say "Walker where is the dog" and
he will look at Molly (our cocker spaniel) and say "Da".....
Scott has some deer mounts in our the office at our home.....when you walk in there and say "Walker where are the deer"...he will look up at the deer and say "Da". Please dear Lord, do not let my sons second word be deer (da-da was his first)....it probably will be though...his daddy probably says it to him all the time when i am not around just to drive me crazy!!! ha ha! just kidding. :)
He is getting so big.... :(

Walker's First Beach Trip

Walker and I had the pleasure of getting to visit ft. morgan, al this past weekend. We went and visited some family that was down there on vacation. Walker absolutely loved the beach. It was slightly overcast while we were down there which didn't bother me at all!!! It was actually pleasent out and not too hot. I think Walker ate more sand than anything! It was so funny because our child does not crawl, bless his heart....he is a scooter. Wherever he needs to go..he scoots. Well in the sand he would leave a "scooting trail"...it was hilarious. I tried to get a picture of his "scooting trail" but they didn't turn out.

Here are some pictures from Walkers first beach trip. Luckily, we get to go back to the beach next week so we will have more fun pics to enjoy!

Happy 4th of July!

Home of the Brave
by Roger Robicheau

Through the feel of war they brave this day
How proud they stand, their unselfish way

Our soldiers bear what we cannot see
They assure our right to live life free

Each trained will face an unknown fate
Our support they need, don’t hesitate

Just imagine how this land would be
Without their courage - catastrophe

All the liberties we have grown to know
Would not exist, this life would go

Find a thankfulness within your mind
Speak gratitude for our bravest kind

Have the willingness to show you care
For fallen heroes, hold back no tear

Reach out to God with his guiding light
For our troops do pray, both day and night

America raise your flags to wave
For we truly are 'home of the brave'

I want to wish you all a very happy4th of July. We truly are the home of the free because of the brave and we are very thankful for that!

Walker's First Voyage on the Rez

Scott and I purchased a pontoon boat for the summer. I was a little unsure of how Walker would do on the boat, but he had his first voyage on the boat this past Saturday and he LOVED every minute of it! Here are some pictures from the afternoon!!!
our new toy!!
Walker took his bottle on the boat and he was out like a light! I think the waves and the wind helped him get super-relaxed!!!
My cousin Lori Beth found these little 24 inch splash pools that are just perfect for the boat. The kids can splash arounds in it and Walker just loved it
The most handsome Captain ever!!!!

Summertime

Walker loves playing in his baby pool enjoying the nice summertime days

Mommy's Big Boy

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted pictures...we have been so busy lately with work and all..it seems that time has just flown by. My little angel is becoming a "little man". It is so sad to me. He is learning how to do so many things...it is so fun but at the same time it makes me so sad how fast time flies!!! Here are some of Walkers new "tricks"!!!!
Walker is learning to drink from a sippie cup

Walker can hold his bottle all by himself

and he is the happiest little one I have ever seen....seriously the child NEVER stops smiling!

He brings a smile to my face EVERY SECOND of the day :)
